Welcome / Using Your Supplies
Step 1
Step 1: Explore Line & Value
We’ll begin with value scales using only line. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal & cross-hatch lines are used to understand how line variation and placement can create depth.
Step 2
Step 2: Transfer Rose Outline
We'll use an easy method for transferring a light outline of the rose to our page.
Step 3
Step 3: Bring It to Life with Line
We'll then use Line to build value and depth within the rose - transforming the flat 2-dimensional outline into a 3-dimensional drawing that pops off the page!
